LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore for a day today (Monday), where he would launch a number of development projects,
During his visit, the premier will meet one-on-one with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to obtain an update on the province’s political and administrative condition.
The chief minister will update Prime Minister Imran Khan on the province government’s efforts to combat the deadly Covid-19 third wave.
At Chief Minister House, he will also preside over key sessions. The prime minister will be briefed on the province capital’s current development initiatives.
According to sources close to the situation, PM will also break ground on various development projects in Lahore.
During his earlier visit to Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched a housing project in Raiwind, as well as unveiling other big projects in the city.
Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has also presided over sessions aimed at achieving universal health care.
The premier will also meet with the chief secretary, the Inspector General, and the Punjab Advocate General.
Last month, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq described the housing project, saying that the Punjab government has set aside Rs3 billion for it to offer shelter to people who lack it.
