Webdesk- Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who is renowned for being direct and honest about his feelings, has slammed the Pakistan cricket team following their second consecutive defeat in the present three-match ODI series against the second-string England side.
Shoaib expressed his disappointment following Pakistan’s poor performance in the ODI series against England, saying he was “extremely furious” with Pakistan’s batsmen in England and chastised all of the players harshly. He also predicted that Pakistan will lose the ODI series 0-3 against India.
The former pacer slammed Pakistan’s bowling attack, predicting a 3-0 whitewash for England if the squad continues to perform like that,
“It hasn’t occurred yet. The score will be 3-0. Pakistan put forth a lot of effort to ensure that their performance was above average. Pakistan’s batting has always disappointed us, and the pattern is continuing today.”
On his YouTube account, Akhtar stated, “Tell me what was on the wicket first. Pakistan is a T20 side that exclusively plays T20 cricket and gets out in the same manner. They took part in the second One-Day International. In T20 cricket, he has 5 wickets in 20 overs, while in ODIs, he has 150-175 in 20 overs.
“This team’s batsmen are constantly disappointed, and this is occurring right now,” he added. In the first ODI, they were dismissed for 4 for 26 against England, and in the second, they were dismissed for 4 for 53 runs. In three ODI matches, Pakistan’s squad will lose 0-3 to England.
