Gujranwala authorities invited the Pakistan Army on Sunday to assist them in implementing SOPs to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
According to a report, authorities would give warnings initially, and if they are ignored, they will file charges against those who break SOPs.
Sohail Khawaja, the Local Commissioner of Gujranwala, said the army had been summoned to assist the district government. He went on to say that army troops will be engaged in combined police and district administration teams.
Certain sections of Gujranwala, on the other hand, are under a smart lockdown, with personnel assigned to monitor the area’s departure and access ports.
