Afghan National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib and State Minister for Peace Sayed Sadat Naderi met with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in London.
On Twitter on Saturday, the National Security Council of Afghanistan (NSCA) provided an update on the meeting, stating that the Afghan state minister for peace and the NSA addressed “matters of mutual interest” with the former Pakistan prime minister.
The officials on both sides agreed that the “principle of mutual respect and non-interference in each other’s domestic affairs” would benefit them both, according to the NSCA, which was reported by Indian news agency ANI.
They also stated that “strengthening democracy” will lead to stability and prosperity for both countries.
Soon after the meeting was announced, government officials turned to Twitter to express their displeasure with the decision.
‘Nawaz appears to be seeking vengeance on his own country.’ Asad Umar (Asad Umar)
“It appears that Nawaz is seeking vengeance against his own nation,” Umar remarked.
“May God protect us from every ill intent,” he said.
‘The only common goal might be to destroy Pakistan,’ Shireen Mazari says.
Minister in Charge of Human Rights Shireen Mazari laughed at the concept of discussing “matters of mutual interest” at the meeting.
“Seriously? Following Mohib’s description of Pakistan — not the PTI administration, but our nation — as a ‘brothel,’ the only shared RAW goal may be to harm Pakistan “she penned
“Such blatant self-interest of Sharif to protect plundered money and nation be damned,” Mazari said, adding that Maryam’s retweet of the NSC Afghanistan post shows “support.”
‘It was hazardous to send Nawaz Sharif out of Pakistan,’ Fawad Chaudhry said.
Meanwhile, Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister of Information, reacted angrily to Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Afghan authorities.
Chaudhry said moving Nawaz out of Pakistan was hazardous because such people become collaborators in foreign schemes, according to a statement he posted on Twitter.
He cited Nawaz’s encounter with Mohib, RAW’s most powerful Afghan partner, as an example of such a mission.
Every opponent of Pakistan, according to Chaudhry, is a close friend of Nawaz Sharif, whether it is Modi, Mohib, or [Afghanistan vice president] Amrullah Saleh.
‘Afghan NSA sent a message from Modi to Nawaz Sharif.’ Shahbaz Gill (Hazbaz Gill)
Dr. Shahbaz Gill, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication, also chastised the previous prime minister for visiting the Afghan National Security Advisor in London.
Dr. Gill said in a statement that meeting and “strong interest” in someone who has maligned and humiliated Pakistan demonstrates the former prime minister’s objective. The Afghan officer, he claimed, had brought a message from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He went on to say that the upcoming elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will be portrayed as contentious so that the elections in Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir may be portrayed in the same light.
