RAWALPINDI – A soldier was hurt in Dewagar, North Waziristan District, as militants fired over the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Terrorists on the Afghan side of the international border opened fire on a military checkpoint in Pakistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, Pakistani forces replied appropriately, with one soldier hurt in the exchange of fire.
Pakistan has repeatedly asked Afghanistan to provide efficient border control, according to the ISPR. Pakistan firmly condemns terrorists’ exploitation of Afghan land for anti-Pakistan operations.
