KARACHI — In light of the changing circumstances in Afghanistan’s capital, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has temporarily halted flights to Kabul.
Today (Monday), the national flag carrier was set to fly three special aircraft to Kabul to remove additional Pakistanis and foreigners who had become stuck in the Afghan capital.
According to PIA CEO Arshad Malik, the three PIA aircraft would carry 600 people back to Islamabad from Kabul. At 8:00 a.m., the first PIA flight was due to depart for Kabul.
