According to health sources, the United States is set to donate 3 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine this week, making it the largest donation of the vaccine to Pakistan.

The Pfizer vaccine is essential for Pakistan since millions of individuals working in the Middle East and Europe are unable to return unless they receive vaccinations approved by their respective governments.

According to health authorities, this cargo is part of the 10 million doses that the US has set aside to assist Pakistan in meeting its need for the mRNA vaccine.

According to health experts, the gift is part of the worldwide COVAX initiative.

Washington has already dispatched 5.5 million doses of the Moderna vaccine.
