DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates said on Friday that citizens who have been properly vaccinated with a World Health Organization-approved vaccine can return from a list of previously banned nations as of September 12.
After a year of delays owing to the epidemic, Dubai, one of the UAE’s seven emirates, is set to launch the Expo 2020 international exhibition on October 1st. The expo is expected to enhance the economy of the area commercial and tourism centre.
The organisers previously said that any lingering UAE flying restrictions imposed to prevent coronavirus infections will be eliminated in time for Expo 2020.
India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Afghanistan are among the countries from which people can fly into the UAE starting September 12.
The UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority announced on Twitter that permission from the UAE government is required to return, as well as the completion of numerous PCR tests.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) website is where people may apply for visas, according to the Khaleej Times.
According to the newspaper, passengers should fill out the vaccination application to obtain the appropriate approvals and produce the authorised vaccination certificate while departing for the emirates.
A negative PCR test result obtained within 48 hours of departure at an accredited lab with a QR code must also be submitted prior to departure, according to the magazine.
According to the magazine, people must take a quick PCR test before boarding, on the fourth, and on the eighth day of their arrival in the nation.
