RAWALPINDI, INDIA — Security agents apprehended three bookmakers with Indian links from the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, foiling an Indian attempt to make Pakistan’s National T20 Cup contentious.
According to reports, the security forces and anti-corruption unit conducted a successful operation at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and cases have been filed as a result of the first investigation.
According to sources, the three gamblers who were betting on National T20 competition matches were apprehended from within the stadium’s Yasir Arfat enclosure.
“Arrested Bookie Zeeshan Memon is a Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi resident, whereas Baki Wajahat Hussain Vehari and Abdul Rehman are Rawalpindi residents.
