ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The President has accepted the summary of Zahir Shah’s appointment as deputy chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as Director General (DG) Operations.
President Dr Arif Alvi has accepted a summary of the name of DG NAB Zahir Shah for the position of deputy chairman NAB, according to sources.
The NAB provided a summary to the Law Ministry for Zahir Shah’s appointment as Deputy Chairman, and the Ministry of Law and Justice would publish a notice for Zahir Shah’s appointment as NAB deputy chairman tomorrow.
At the headquarters, Zahir Shah was the DG Operations NAB. It should be mentioned that the position of vice chairman of the NAB became vacant on October 4 after Hussain Asghar resigned.
Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, authorised the resignation.
