ISLAMABAD – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued another show cause notice to Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, and Azam Swati, the Railways Minister, over charges made against the commission.


The panel called Fawad Chaudhry today, according to information, however no counsel from his side came before the committee.


While issuing the notifications, ECP decided to postpone the hearing until November 16.


Fawad had chastised the electoral commission for voicing concerns about electronic voting machines, which the government intends to implement in the next general election.


Azam Swati has also filed significant charges of bribery during elections against the ECP and CEC.
