VEHARI/OKARA – According to Dunya News, two people were murdered and six others were injured in two separate car incidents in Okara and Vehari on Sunday.
According to reports, the first disaster happened in Okara, where a father and his small daughter were murdered and his wife was injured after their motorbike was hit by a vehicle.
A rashly driven vehicle collided with a motorcycle on the Dipalpur Road, killing a man named Akram and his three-year-old daughter Mahnoor on the scene and wounding his wife.
Police and rescue crews arrived on the scene and transported the deceased and injured to the hospital. According to police reports, the truck driver managed to flee the site of the collision.
The second collision happened at Khadar Bridge on the Ludan Road in Vehari, when a car crashed with a van, injuring five people. After being notified, police and rescue services arrived on the scene and transported the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
