The Prime Minister heads an important meeting of the political committee.

PM ISLAMABAD – Imran Khan chaired over a critical meeting of the political committee on Thursday.
According to reports, federal ministries and Prime Minister’s Finance and Revenue Adviser Shaukat Tarin were also present during the meeting.


The participants addressed laws enacted during the Parliament’s joint session. They also discussed the political climate and administrative issues.


PM Imran Khan praised the spirit of MNAs Mohammad Kheyal Zaman, Ehsanullah Tiwana, and Rahat Amanullah Bhatti, who attended the joint session of parliament despite being very ill, as well as Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, who participated despite the loss of his brother

In a tweet, the Prime Minister congratulated them on behalf of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the country.

The joint session of Parliament enacted a number of measures, including one providing expatriate Pakistanis the right to vote and opening the way for the deployment of electronic voting machines (EVMs) in general elections.
