Pakistan Women won by 114 runs against Zimbabwe Women.

HARARE – Pakistan Women beat Zimbabwe Women by 114 runs in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier at Sunrise Club, thanks to Player of the Match Anam Amin’s superb three for nine in seven overs.

Following the ICC’s decision to end the tournament due to Covid-19-related uncertainty and the global governing body’s decision to grant qualification to Pakistan, the West Indies, and Bangladesh based on their rankings as per the tournament’s playing conditions, Zimbabwe were rolled out for 81 in 26.2 overs.

Sadiq Iqbal, another left-arm orthodox, also grabbed three wickets in four overs, returning three for four.

Fatima Sana, a pacer, and Omaima Sohail, an off-spinner, both grabbed two wickets. Only two batters from Zimbabwe reached double digits.

Pakistan reached 195 for the loss of six wickets after being invited to bat, with Aliya Riaz top-scoring with 48 not out. The right-hander hit three sixes and one four on her way to a strike rate of more than 82.
