LAHORE, Pakistan — Shehbaz Sharif, president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA), described Pakistan’s economic situation as “alarming” on Tuesday.
The PML-N leader stated that additional loans will be taken out next year to pay wages, pensions, and even to administer the country.
The ruin of the economy is the result of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s bad policies, he continued.
