KARACHI: According to A News, a guy splashed acid on his cousin after she denied his marriage proposal in Karachi’s Akhtar Colony.
The victim of the acid assault is a divorcee with two children, aged 29. She was sent to the burns ward of Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital.
Doctors reported 40 percent of her body had been burned, according to preliminary assessments.
According to police, the suspect, Shehzad, invited his parents to the woman’s residence to deliver a marriage proposal, which resulted in his assaulting her with acid after she denied his offer.
According to them, Shehzad has been charged on behalf of the victim’s father. To apprehend the culprit, raids are being carried out.
