Punjab presents the preliminary report on the Sialkot investigation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Punjab government had delivered a first investigative report on the Sialkot disaster to Prime Minister Imran Khan a day earlier.

According to the preliminary investigation, a conflict arose when Kumara removed several posters from the factory’s walls around 10:28 a.m. According to reports, the posters bore the name of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Soon later, the factory owner arrived and rectified the problem. Kumara had apologised for his mistake.

After Kumara apologised, the situation was allegedly considered resolved, and the manufacturing employees dispersed.

However, other employees incited their coworkers to assault the management.

Within minutes, a mob assembled and attacked the victim within the industrial unit’s premises, murdering him.

The plant was guarded by 13 security personnel at the time of the horrific attack. According to the complaint, none of them attempted to rescue the victim or disperse the throng.

Later, Kumara’s body was hauled outside the workplace.

According to authorities, police got a phone call regarding the incident around 11:28 a.m. Within 12 minutes, a police party had arrived on the scene.
