LAHORE, Pakistan — On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that 1.16 billion rupees had been set aside for an air rescue service that would begin in the current fiscal year.

According to reports, the Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Development has authorised the Air Rescue Service Project to be included in the Annual Development Program 2021-22 on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
