KARACHI, Pakistan — A bomb at Karachi’s Gulbai Shershah Paracha Chowk killed ten persons and wounded many more.
According to police, the explosion occurred in a nearby nullah and caused extensive damage to a private bank building as well as neighbouring automobiles and motorbikes.
According to authorities, the injured are being sent to Civil Hospital for treatment.
The area has also been blocked off by police and Rangers troops.
On the other side, Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah took note of a nullah blast in Karachi on Saturday.
The CM has asked the Karachi commissioner to conduct an investigation into the event and has requested a report as soon as feasible. He has also expressed condolences for the deaths and directed that the affected patients be accommodated in hospitals.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed condolences to the deceased families and stated that the province is with the victims at this tough period.
He also prayed for the injured people’s quick recovery.
