KARACHI, On Tuesday, Sarah Gill made history by becoming Pakistan’s first transgender doctor.

Sarah has successfully completed her MBBS final exams at Karachi University. With hard effort and commitment, she believes that everyone may achieve anything. She has put forth a lot of effort to become a doctor.

“No one can stop you from achieving anything if you’re enthusiastic about it,” Pakistan’s first transgender doctor said on Dunya News’ show “Nuqta e Nazar” on her success. “I wanted to make Pakistan renowned, and my parents embraced me once I became a doctor,” he said, adding, “There are hardships in life.”

“I want to advise the transgender community not to lose hope,” Sarah continued. Anyone of you may work hard and succeed if I can become a doctor.”

She also discussed how, due to societal pressure, parents are evicting their transgender children from their homes, while simultaneously expressing optimism for a brighter future.

“Stop evicting your children from their homes due to societal pressure. It’s only the beginning; things will improve in the future, inshallah,” she remarked.
