On Friday night, the roof of a decaying home in Lahore unexpectedly fell, killing at least four people and injuring one more.
According to sources, five people were trapped under rubble when the roof of a house in Mominpura neighbourhood of Baghbanpura in Lahore collapsed. Rescue workers arrived on the scene and recovered the remains of two women and two children from the wreckage, while a minor boy was rescued in a wounded state.
Rescue workers have taken the dead and injured to hospitals. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed condolences to the departed family and hoped for the injured to recover quickly.
