The militants who attacked security troops in Noshki and Panjgur, according to Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zia Lango, had ties to India and Afghanistan.

Zia Langu, speaking to the media in Quetta about the attack on security forces in Noshki, Panjgur, claimed that terrorism has been rife in Balochistan for the past 15 years, with thousands of people killed in various terrorist-related incidents around the province.

He claimed that valiant security forces have made sacrifices for the sake of peace, and that those who are disrupting Balochistan’s peace have foreign countries’ support.

The home adviser went on to claim that the security forces had averted disaster in Panjgur and Noshki.

He went on to say that the local market was closed and would remain closed until the terrorists were dead, and that 4 to 5 terrorists had gone to the bazaar during the combat and were still alive.

ISIS also posed a threat, according to Lango, who added that security officers heroically engaged and defeated the terrorists.

He went on to say, “The nation pays honour to the martyred warriors.”
