KARACHI: Two’street criminals’ were apprehended by police in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood on Thursday.
According to authorities, the alleged street criminals were stealing items from civilians Sufyan and Taha in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal district. They were quickly apprehended by police at the scene of the crime.
Arms and stolen property were retrieved from their possession, according to police.
In a second incident today in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar Block 8, a resident was robbed by street thugs.
After withdrawing cash from a private bank in the Safoora region, the person was pursued by street thugs.
Two dacoits on a motorbike encircled the citizen at his door and stole Rs900,000 in cash. The gentleman attempted to oppose the heist but eventually gave in to the crooks.
The event was also captured on camera. The camera clearly revealed the unmasked armed dacoits, but authorities have yet to apprehend them.
