On Wednesday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) postponed its verdict to disqualify Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial minister Shah Muhammad.
It is worth noting that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had already disqualified Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) minister Shah Mohammad on February 1.
According to facts, the minister was disqualified for five years by the electoral board for disrupting peace and order during a local body election in Baka Khel.
While holding Shah Mohammad and his son accountable for the rioting and attacks on voting booths, the ECP disqualified both.
The polling process in Baka Khel tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district was delayed during local body elections when the security situation in the tehsil deteriorated.
