Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, has announced that the government will award 2.6 million merit-based scholarships worth 28 billion rupees to deserving students.
He told a convocation in Faisalabad on Saturday that our flagship Ehsaas Program, which is rated fourth in the world, is benefiting seven million people.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, he claimed, had already inaugurated the Scholarship Portal.
According to the Minister of State, the Punjab government is creating three technical universities and would grant two hundred thousand higher education scholarships.
We’re modernising the school and running it in two shifts, he said.
