Under the Kamyab Pakistan Program, the Prime Minister announces interest-free loans.

ISLAMABAD – At a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the introduction of interest-free loans under the Kamyab Pakistan Program.

While speaking during the ceremony, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed sadness that Pakistan had previously been unable to attain its rightful place in the international community owing to its failure to adhere to the principles for which it was founded. He pointed out that governments that lose sight of their philosophy are doomed to fail.

Imran Khan has stated that under the Kamyab Pakistan Program, loans of one thousand billion rupees will be granted to four and a half million worthy households by next year in order to raise them out of poverty and enable them to make a living. According to him, the initiative has already granted loans totaling 2.5 billion rupees.

The Prime Minister stated that the Kamyab Pakistan Program, which aims to transform Pakistan into a welfare state, will be expanded further.

Imran Khan stated that the Kamyab Pakistan Program envisions interest-free loans of 500 thousand rupees for enterprises, 350 thousand rupees for farmers, and two million rupees for house development.

He also stated that technical training will be offered to one member of each deserving household in order to assist them in becoming self-sufficient.

He added this route, which was envisioned by Philosopher Poet Allama Iqbal, will lead the country to grandeur, referring to other pro-people measures such as the health insurance system.
