A special Boeing-777 jet from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) arrived in Islamabad in the early hours of Wednesday from Poland, carrying 230 Pakistanis who had been stuck in Ukraine owing to the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
The evacuated Pakistanis were met at the airport by Polish Ambassador Maciej Pisarski, his wife Justyna Maria Pisarski, Foreign Secretary Sohail Mehmood, and PIA officials.
