Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Lahore today (Thursday) for a day-long visit amid mounting political tensions following the submission of a no-confidence vote. During his stay in the city, he has key meetings to chair.
The Prime Minister is expected to meet separately with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, according to reports.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address a parliamentary party gathering at the Secretariat of the Chief Minister, to which all PTI Punjab Assembly members have been invited.
The Jahangir Tareen faction, on the other hand, has declined to attend the conference. The Tareen party has stated that it will skip the party’s parliamentary meeting.
