Prime Minister Imran Khan was fined Rs 50,000 by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday for holding a public meeting in Lower Dir.
Lower Dir. District Monitoring Officer levied the fine on PM Imran Khan. Despite being called, the Prime Minister did not appear in person or through counsel, according to the decision to levy the fee.
Within three days, the Prime Minister can appeal the decision to the Election Commission. The case will be sent to ECP for further action if the infringement is repeated.
