The ECP issued a notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday for attending a rally in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand area ahead of the second round of the LG elections.
The electoral commission has issued a notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan for violating the election code of conduct. The prime minister, according to the ECP, has breached the provisions of the Revised Code of Conduct, Elections Act 2017, and the Rules issued thereunder.”
The notification was given to PM Imran, KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Federal Ministers Murad Saeed and Ali Zaidi, Senator Faisal Javed, MNA Junaid Akbar, MPA Shakeel Khan, and MPA Pir Mussawir by District Monitoring Officer of Election Commission.
