England wins the toss and elects to bat first against Pakistan in the Women’s Cricket World Cup.

In their ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup encounter against Pakistan in Christchurch on Thursday, England captain Heather Knight won the toss and opted to bowl first.

If the reigning champions want to advance to the semi-finals, they must keep winning, while Pakistan is hoping for their second consecutive success.

England has made one change to their starting lineup, with all-rounder Emma Lamb replacing Charlie Dean in the middle.

In place of Muneeba Ali and Anam Amin, Pakistan has made two changes to its lineup: opener Nahida Khan and seamer Aiman Anwer.
