On Thursday, a wanted terrorist was killed in Peshawar following a firefight with members of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police.
According to the CTD, a gunfight erupted in Armar, Peshawar, when the CTD, police, and other intelligence agencies conducted a coordinated operation based on an intelligence tip-off.
When the terrorists saw the police, they began indiscriminate fire on them, and one wanted terrorist named Danial was killed in the ensuing shootout, while two or three others managed to flee.
Terrorists were involved in a number of crimes, according to the CTD, including an attack on the Kocha Rasaldar mosque, targeted killings of police officers and traffic wardens, and an attack on a Jalozai mobile van.
