Ayaz Sadiq, who heads the opposition’s National Assembly session, opposes Qasim Suri’s verdict on the no-trust motion.

The combined opposition convened its own National Assembly session on Sunday.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, a former speaker and PML-N politician, presided over the meeting as Speaker, while Murtaza Javed Abbasi introduced the panel of chairs.

Shehbaz Sharif, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), addressed the opposition’s NA session as the session began.

The national assembly secretariat turned off the microphones in the Lower House.

While occupying the position of Speaker, symbolic speaker Ayaz Sadiq ruled against the ruling of Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.

While rejecting Qasim Suri’s judgement, the symbolic speaker stated that it was unconstitutional.
