Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), filed a constitutional petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday.
The case, according to facts, asks the court to examine into the question of elections for the position of Punjab Chief Minister (CM), which has been vacant since April 1.
According to sources, the appeal also names the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, the Deputy Speaker, and others.
