Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to appoint representatives from all coalition parties to the new federal cabinet.

According to sources, the PML-N will have a 12-member majority in the new cabinet, while the PPP will be given seven ministries. The JUI-F will have at least three federal ministers and one state minister. Meanwhile, the MQM-P will be divided into two ministries.

Both the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) and the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) would have two ministries. According to sources, the new cabinet would also include independent members.
