Pakistan will play an ODI series in the Netherlands.

Pakistan and the Netherlands will play their first bilateral one-day international cricket series in August, when Rotterdam hosts three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League games on August 16, 18, and 21.

The two teams previously met in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cups in 1996 and 2003, as well as the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002, with Pakistan winning all three matches.

The three Super League One-Day Internationals were originally scheduled for July 2020, but were forced to be postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Hosts The Netherlands have won two of their ten ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League matches, while Pakistan has won half of their 12 matches. The event will determine which of the seven highest-placed teams, as well as the hosts, will compete. India will automatically qualify for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

“We are pleased that, with the support of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB), we have been able to reschedule the series, which is important to the growth and development of cricket in the Netherlands as well as the two teams’ chances of progressing directly to the 2023 World Cup,” PCB Director – International Zakir Khan said here on Wednesday.
