Miftah Ismail, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, announced on Sunday that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has agreed to deploy a delegation to Pakistan in the middle of May 2022 to continue the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.
The federal minister told a news conference in Washington that he and his colleagues had very productive discussions with the fund, the World Bank, and the IFC. He stated that when the IMF mission comes in Pakistan, the government would attempt to reach an accelerated personnel level arrangement with it.
