On Tuesday, a Sessions Court ruled that former DG Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Bashir Memon was not implicated in three cases against him, including charges of money laundering.
During the hearing, the court questioned the FIA about the investigation’s progress thus far. According to the agency, the inquiry is complete, and its former DG Bashir Memon is not sought because he was not implicated in any of the instances.
Bashir Memon had previously opened a fresh Pandora’s box in 2021 with a slew of severe claims levelled against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
