Shehbaz Sharif meets Mohammad Bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince.

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — On Friday night, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is in Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit, called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The meeting also included Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Muftah Ismail, and Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb.

On Friday, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Pakistani Prime Minister Sherif Shehbaz at Jeddah’s Al-Salam Palace.

When Pakistan’s Prime Minister arrived at the Palace, he was greeted with a formal greeting.

During their conversation, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sherif discussed the fraternal and historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

During the discussion, they discussed Saudi Arabia’s and Pakistan’s historical and familial ties. They also talked about the future of bilateral collaboration, as well as interesting opportunities and how to exploit them in various sectors.

The two sides also addressed a variety of matters of mutual interest and examined the regional and international concerns.

It’s worth noting that the Pakistani Prime Minister’s travel to Saudi Arabia is his first overseas journey since being sworn in as Pakistan’s prime minister earlier this month.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a familial relationship characterised by mutual trust and understanding, strong collaboration, and a long history of mutual assistance.

The Pakistani people hold the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in great regard.

Close mutual collaboration in regional and international fora complements the bilateral partnership. The OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir includes Saudi Arabia.

More than two million Pakistanis live in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the advancement, prosperity, and economic development of the two fraternal nations.

Regular high-level visits are an important aspect of this unique relationship. The prime minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia will provide a significant push for developing bilateral cooperation in a variety of sectors and will further strengthen the two nations’ burgeoning alliance.
