In a tweet, German Ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck announced that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock wished her new Pakistani colleague Bilawal Bhutto Zardari well. Germany and Pakistan have a strong dosti (friendship), and we hope to see it reinforced even further under the new government.
In her message, the FM expressed her congratulations on your appointment as Pakistan’s Foreign Minister. Germany and Pakistan marked the 70th anniversary of their bilateral relations last year. She stated, “I look forward to working with you to continue and expand our close cooperation.”
