The first public school for the Sikh community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is slated to open in Peshawar.
The initiative will be the first of its type, allowing students from the Sikh community and other minorities to get an education in a more conducive setting.
According to reports, the project began over two years ago when property was bought near the Jogan Shah Mohalla in the ancient city.
The Sikh community has requested that the school be built.
