PTI protestors set fire to a metro station in Islamabad

On Wednesday night, protestors from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) set fire to a Metro station in China Chowk, as police clashed with PTI activists in other areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The enraged mob also set fire to dozens of trees on the green belt near the Metro Station, according to sources.

Thousands of PTI workers and supporters marched to D-Chowk in Islamabad, knocking away containers and enduring tear gas bombardment in the process. They are now waiting for their leader Imran Khan, whose caravan has arrived in the city.
