Lahore, Pakistan weather update

LAHORE — The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts sporadic rainfall for portions of Pakistan, including Lahore, on Sunday evening/night.

According to the synoptic scenario, weak moist currents from the Bay of Bengal are infiltrating Pakistan’s upper and central regions.
Rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely in scattered locations throughout central/south Punjab, including Lahore, northeast Balochistan, north Sindh, Kashmir, and bordering hilly areas on Sunday evening/night.

Maximum temperatures in Lahore are expected to continue in the 36-38 degree Celsius range on Monday and 37-39 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, much of the country has experienced hot and humid weather during the previous 24 hours.
