Pakistani climber Asad Ali Memon has successfully climbed Mount Vinson, Antarctica’s highest peak. The mountain, which stands at 4,892 metres, is known for being the coldest in the world.
Memon, who is on a trip to top the tallest mountains on all seven continents, has now climbed six of them. His most recent success adds to his stellar climbing record.
The climber’s next aim is to reach the top of Puncak Jaya in Papua New Guinea, the final peak on his Seven Summits journey. Reflecting on his accomplishment, Memon dedicated it to people who believe in hard work and persistence.
