ISLAMABAD (Channel News) Sahibzada Hamid Raza, the spokesperson for the PTI’s negotiating committee, said the party would not take part in the fourth round of negotiations unless a public statement was made about the creation of a judicial commission to look into the events of May 9.
The administration should openly announce that it is prepared to organize the judicial committee, Raza recommended. “We can have another meeting to discuss the commission’s Terms of Reference (ToRs) once it is announced,” he stated.
He further emphasized that PTI will not take part in the fourth round of discussions if the demand is not fulfilled.
Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the PTI, also connected the establishment of the judicial committee with the fourth round of talks. “We must follow the PTI leader’s instructions that no talks can take place until the judicial commission is established,” he said.
