ISLAMABAD (Channel News)- On Thursday, a two-member Supreme Court panel reserved its ruling in the extra registrar’s contempt of court case.
The Supreme Court’s two-member bench, comprising of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Aqeel Abbasi, heard the contempt of court case and reserved the ruling after hearing several arguments.
Earlier, in response to the contempt of court notice about the rescheduling of the case involving the powers of the bench, Supreme Court Additional Registrar Nazar Abbas filed his answer to the show cause notice.
In response, Additional Registrar Nazar Abbas requested that the show-cause notice be withdrawn, claiming that he had not violated any legal instructions. He noted that he had sent a memorandum to the Practice and Procedure Committee on the formation of a bench based on the judicial order.
Advocate Hamid Khan helped the bench in the case and offered his arguments.
