Salman Mansoor, SCBA Secretary, was suspended

ISLAMABAD ( Channel News) : Salman Mansoor, the secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), was suspended by the organization’s executive committee on Friday.

Salman has allegedly been charged with abusing his position, according to sources. Salman responded to his suspension by stating that no one is required to be suspended by SCBA regulations.

The former secretary had filed a petition against the 26th Amendment, it turned out. According to the regulations, the SCBA president’s consent had to be requested, but in this instance, it was not obtained.

According to Rauf Atta, president of the SCBA, the secretary was suspended for breaking the regulations. According to Atta, the ex-official did not even attend the meeting to provide an explanation.
