ISLAMABAD: In a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the formation of a Judicial Commission to hold open hearings and properly investigate the charges of regime change conspiracy alleged by former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The President stressed the need of forming the Commission, stating that the country was facing a significant political crisis and that major polarisation was occurring in politics and among Pakistanis as a result of recent events.
He highlighted that it was the collective responsibility of all institutions to do all possible to avoid negative effects for the country and to prevent further deterioration.
