Mexico’s Tijuana (Reuters) – After receiving death threats, Peso Pluma, a Mexican artist who performs in Tijuana, a border city with the United States, canceled an October concert, his record label announced on Wednesday.

In Tijuana, several banners with red letters warning that the 24-year-old, whose actual name is Hassan Kabande, will perform there one last time, appeared on four main thoroughfares.

Who put up the flags and their motivation for wanting to kill him was unclear.
