Famous Bollywood director Karan Johar chastised performers for demanding large salaries in spite of their films’ weak box office debuts.
According to an Indian media outlet, he discussed the need to revitalise the film industry and the growing costs associated with making films in a recent interview.
“First off, audiences’ preferences are becoming increasingly clear-cut. They have a specific type of movie in mind. Additionally, your film must play at A, B, and C centres if you, as the maker, wish to complete a specific number. “Multiplexes by themselves won’t cut it,” he declared.
